Femi Otedola, chairman and leading investor in First HoldCo Plc, has increased his stake in First HoldCo Plc after securing 64.87 million shares valued at N2.01 billion.
Gatekeepers News reports that the transactions were disclosed by FBN Holdings in two separate filings to Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) on Wednesday.
According to the filings, Otedola directly bought 39.3 million shares on September 23 at a value of N1.2 billion. On the same date, he also secured 25.6 million shares indirectly through Calvados Global Services Limited, amounting to N793.6 million.
With this latest move, Otedola’s direct shareholding rises to 3,251,346,245 units with 7.76 percent, while his indirect stake now totals 3,491,125,586 units with 8.34 percent. His overall holding in First HoldCo climbs to 16.1 percent, up from 13.15 percent in September 2024.
