Super Eagles Set For November Friendlies Against Colombia – Venezuela

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the Super Eagles, will take on Colombia and Venezuela in international friendly matches scheduled for November in the United States.

Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria will face Venezuela on November 14 at Shell Stadium in Houston, Texas, with kick-off set for 2:00 a.m. Nigerian time. Four days later, the Eagles will meet Colombia at Citi Field Stadium in Flushing Meadows, Queens, New York, with a 1:00 a.m. Nigerian time starts.

Colombia have already secured qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the US, while Venezuela narrowly missed out, finishing just two points short.

Super Eagles, meanwhile, remain in a challenging position in their bid to claim one of Africa’s nine automatic World Cup spots.

Currently third in Group C of the qualifiers and six points behind leaders South Africa, the Eagles have only two matches left to secure qualification, raising the prospect of missing out on consecutive World Cups.
