Job Duties
• Prospecting and lead generation: Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, cold calling, and attending events.
• Client engagement: Meet with clients virtually or in person to understand their needs and present products or services effectively.
• Sales and negotiation: Persuade clients to make purchases, negotiate contracts and pricing, and close deals to meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Account management: Maintain relationships with existing customers, manage their accounts, and identify opportunities for upselling.
• Administrative tasks: Maintain accurate customer and sales records, manage a CRM database, and prepare reports on sales performance.
• Market awareness: Gather market and customer information to understand needs and staying informed about industry trends and competitors.
Key skills and qualifications
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for presentations and negotiations.
• Negotiation: The ability to negotiate contracts and terms is a core part of the role.
• Interpersonal skills: Building and maintaining relationships with clients is a critical component.
