Edo State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated the newly reconstituted Board of Trustees (BOT) of the party and its new chairman, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa.
Gatekeepers News reports that in a statement issued on Friday, the party described the BOT as the elders and moral compass of the PDP, noting that its leadership plays a vital role in providing wisdom, guidance, and stability within the party.
The Edo PDP expressed confidence that the reconstituted BOT would offer firm support to the National Working Committee led by Alhaji Abdulrahman Mohammed, as the party focuses on reconciliation, rebuilding, and repositioning for future electoral success and service to Nigerians.
Reaffirming the PDP’s commitment to democratic ideals, the party urged the new BOT leadership to apply its wealth of experience and integrity in promoting unity and strengthening the party’s ideological direction.
On behalf of the State Working Committee, leaders, and members of the Edo PDP, Publicity Secretary Bob-Manuel Umoru extended best wishes to Senator Ohuabunwa and the BOT members, praying for divine wisdom and good health as they undertake their responsibilities.
