Super Eagles Settle Bonus Row And Shift Focus To Gabon World Cup Play-Off

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have confirmed that all outstanding bonuses and allowances owed to the players have been cleared by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).

Gatekeepers Newreports that team captain William Troost-Ekong announced the development on Wednesday via his verified X handle, saying the issue had been resolved and that the squad was now fully focused on Thursday’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Gabon.

“Issue RESOLVED. Outstanding financials cleared and on ground. Team is UNITED and focused as before on representing NIGERIA with our maximum for the games ahead!” Ekong wrote.
