Eedris Abdulkareem’s Facebook and Instagram pages have been suspended by Meta, coming just days after he released a new politically driven track titled Open Letter to Donald Trump.
Gatekeepers News reports that the song, which dropped on TikTok on November 29, 2025, under Lakreem Entertainment, is presented as a message to US President Donald Trump but focuses heavily on criticising Nigeria’s political class.
In the track, Abdulkareem refers to Nigerian leaders as criminals of all shades and hues, accusing them of enriching themselves while citizens continue to suffer from insecurity, kidnappings, killings, and terrorism.
With the line “dem dey fear Donald Trump,” he frames the song as an attempt to draw global attention to Nigeria’s worsening challenges.
Eedris has a long history of using music to confront authorities. Recall that earlier in April, he dropped Tell Your Papa, a track directed at Seyi Tinubu, calling on him to inform his father about the hardship Nigerians face.
The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) later banned the song for allegedly violating Section 3.1.8 of the Nigerian Broadcasting Code.
