Sales Manager

Description:
To drive bulk sales performance for edible oil products within the assigned territory by developing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts, expanding market coverage, and achieving volume, revenue, and profitability targets
Job Details
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow bulk edible oil sales within the assigned area.
- Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring strong business relationships and consistent order generation.
- Conduct regular market visits to maintain market intelligence and identify opportunities for volume expansion.
Revenue & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and take corrective actions where needed.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders to enhance loyalty and retention.
- Provide product knowledge, technical support, and after-sales service to key accounts.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and service excellence.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Collect and analyze competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer preferences.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports, market insights, and performance dashboards to management.
- Recommend improvements in pricing, product mix, and promotional strategies.
Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely stock availability and delivery.
- Ensure proper management of distributors, including stock levels, order cycles, and route-to-market performance
Qualifications and Requirements:
- MBA Marketing, Business Administration or related field from a recognized Institution.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or edible oil bulk sales.
- Strong negotiation, communication, Analytical thinking and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in a field sales environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and digital tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the sales field.
- Proficient in Local language
Salary Range: ₦600,000 – ₦800,000
