Key Account Manager – HORECA

Description:

You’ll be the strategic growth driver for our HORECA channel — shaping how we win with premium foodservice partners across the region. This is not just account management; it’s about co-creating category vision, embedding best-in-class shopper insights, and turning data into profitable action — all while representing FrieslandCampina’s purpose-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities

Channel & Customer Strategy

  • Design and execute tailored channel strategies for HORECA, aligned with category priorities and market dynamics.
  • Partner with sales teams to develop and implement customer-specific growth plans — from menu innovation to distribution excellence.

Trade Activation & Commercial Execution

  • Lead end-to-end trade promotion: from concept development and budget planning to ROI analysis and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure seamless implementation of Integrated Commercial Plans (ICPs).

Market Intelligence & Insight-Led Action

  • Translate market research and shopper analytics into actionable initiatives — e.g., identifying “Best Practice Shoppers” and scaling their success across the portfolio.
  • Monitor competitive activity, consumer trends, and channel evolution to proactively adjust tactics.

Governance & Integrity

  • Uphold FrieslandCampina’s global standards for compliance, ethics, and brand integrity in all commercial interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B sales, key account management, or commercial roles — ideally within FMCG, foodservice, or HORECA.
  • Proven track record of managing complex accounts, driving revenue growth, and leading cross-functional projects.
