Temi Otedola has revealed that her partner, Mr Eazi, once sent her an email expressing his frustration while they were both in the same room.
Gatekeepers News reports that speaking on a recent episode of their podcast, Temi said the singer tends to communicate his feelings through writing, even in situations where a face-to-face conversation might seem more appropriate.
She recounted a particular incident when he sent her a lengthy message detailing what upset him, despite her repeatedly asking if something was wrong.
“Now, I think he is working on it. The way I found out that Tosin was angry with me on a Monday was that he sent me this long message. Bear it in mind that we are sitting in the same flat. And me, minding my business, responding to my mails, and I got a message saying everything he was upset about me for,” she said.
“While I was reading it, my body was already becoming hot. At some point, I couldn’t even read it because I was so angry.
“Imagine I have asked this guy 10 times: ‘Are you upset with me?’ I was hot. Honestly, if you are in the same situation, I think it is childish not to go up and speak to them. Right now, that is what you are comfortable with. You find it easier to express yourself by typing. At least, you are getting out. But it will be nice if you express it to me.”
Responding, Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, said he prefers written communication because it allows him to properly articulate his thoughts without sounding harsh.
“I would prefer to do that. I see that sometimes when we sit down to talk, I do not hit the nail on the head. Because at the same time, I do not want to sound harsh. I do not want to because I am such a nice person,” he said.
“I think it is important for people to find the best way to communicate. For me, it is writing. When I want to be stone-cold, I can do it, so I can read it again to see what I have repeated.”
The couple began dating in 2017 and got engaged in April 2023. In 2025, they held a lavish three-part wedding ceremony across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland, reportedly costing about $15 million.
