A 53-year-old Nigerian national, identified as Olatunde Olusanjo, has been arrested in the United States over alleged sexual offences and is now facing possible deportation.

Gatekeepers News reports that Olusanjo was apprehended in Los Angeles by officials of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Authorities said he was taken into custody on April 21, 2026, by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations unit and is currently being held while deportation proceedings are underway.

The arrest is linked to alleged s*xual offences, although further details about the specific charges have not been fully disclosed publicly.

U.S. immigration authorities typically initiate deportation processes for non-citizens involved in criminal cases, especially where the offences are considered serious under federal law.

In this case, officials confirmed that Olusanjo remains in custody pending the outcome of his immigration case.
