Nigerian music singers Davido and Rema have been featured on the official album for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, further highlighting the growing global influence of Afrobeats.
Gatekeepers News reports that the 18-track project, unveiled by FIFA Sound ahead of the tournament, brings together artists from different continents, languages and music genres in what FIFA describes as one of its most ambitious music collaborations.
According to the official tracklist, Rema appears on the song “Goals” alongside Lisa and Anitta. Davido is featured on “No Place Like Home” with Nelly Furtado and the music group Major Lazer.
Other Nigerian stars on the album include Burna Boy, who features with Shakira on the official World Cup song “Dai Dai,” and Ayra Starr, who appears on “Show Me” with Latto.
The album is scheduled for release on June 5 through FIFA Sound and Universal Music, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
FIFA said the project is designed to celebrate global unity through football and music under the theme “Football Unites the World.”
