Nigeria has recorded 284 New COVID-19 cases.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria has recorded 284 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, October 11, 2021, bringing the number of confirmed infections in the country to 207,978.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in its daily report.
In the report, FCT recorded the highest infections with 67 new cases, Kaduna followed with 33 cases, Rivers-31, Anambra-23, Lagos-22, Osun-22, Cross River-18, Edo-18, Ondo-13 and Plateau-12.
Nasarawa recorded 6, Kwara-5, Imo-4, Benue-3, Niger-2, while Delta, Ekiti, Jigawa, Ogun and Oyo recorded 1 case each.
According to NCDC, this report includes:
▪️101 case recoveries from Edo State include community discharge
2 states with zero cases reported: Bauchi and Kano
Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,756 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 195,626 have recovered and have been discharged.
