Nigerian Marketing Awards (NMA) has announced the fifth edition of its annual awards, with the ceremony scheduled for November 21, 2026, at The Jewel Aeida, Lekki, Lagos.
Gatekeepers News reports that the organisers disclosed this in a statement, announcing that entries for the 2026 awards will open on August 15 and close on September 22.
The fifth edition will be held under the theme, “Reimagine Marketing,” which the organisers said would challenge marketing professionals to rethink conventional approaches, embrace innovation and redefine the role of marketing in business and society.
The awards will feature 31 competitive categories covering brands, campaigns, agencies, individuals, innovation, digital marketing, experiential marketing, sustainability and reputation management, among others.
Amstel Malta has been announced as the headline sponsor of the 2026 Nigerian Marketing Awards.
The founder of the Nigerian Marketing Awards, Tony Agenmonmen, said the fifth edition marked an important milestone for the platform, which was established in 2022.
Agenmonmen said the anniversary would celebrate the growth of Nigeria’s marketing industry while encouraging practitioners to embrace creativity, technology and deeper understanding of consumers.
He said the “Reimagine Marketing” theme was designed to encourage the industry to move beyond familiar approaches and recognise work capable of creating meaningful change.
The organisers said the 2026 edition would take place amid significant changes in the marketing industry driven by artificial intelligence, data, evolving consumer expectations, emerging media platforms and economic pressures.
They added that the awards would recognise marketing initiatives that demonstrate strategic thinking, originality, effective execution and measurable results.
The organisers said the awards had, over its previous four editions, maintained an independent judging process led by the Awards Decision Council, comprising professionals with experience and contributions to the marketing and communications industry.
The 2026 ceremony is expected to attract marketing professionals, business executives, agency leaders, policymakers, academics, media representatives and other stakeholders.
The Nigerian Marketing Awards is endorsed by industry bodies including the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria, Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria, Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.
The awards also hold the Trust Mark of the UK-based Independent Awards Standards Council.
