Terrorists Kill Over 20 In Fresh Kaduna State Attack

Terrorists have killed over 20 people in fresh Kaduna State attack.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Kaduna State Government, North West Nigeria, said that the military and police authorities have reported that over 20 citizens were killed during attacks by terrorists on several villages in Giwa Local Government Area.

The state’s Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan disclosed this in a statement.

Aruwan said the military and police authorities said this in a report.

He added that the report explained that “the bandits attacked Kauran Fawa, Marke and Riheya villages in Idasu, Giwa LGA, leaving more than 20 residents dead at the time of this update.”

Aruwan said the report noted that “houses, trucks, and cars were also burnt, along with agricultural produce at various farms.”

Aruwan added that the State’s Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, expressed sadness and sent condolences to the families of the victims, directing the Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency to conduct an urgent assessment of the area towards providing relief.

The statement stated that “the identities of the victims would be published once further details are confirmed by the government.

“In the meantime, security agencies have sustained patrols in the general area.”
