Rivers State Governor and presidential aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has opened up on what he plans to do if he fails to get the party’s sole ticket.
Gatekeepers News reports that Wike, one of the leading presidential aspirants of the PDP, reiterated his loyalty to the party on Saturday, while addressing delegates at the party’s presidential primary election and national convention inside the Velodrome of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
He vowed to remain in the party even if he fails to win the primary election.
“I want to speak to you on two subjects. One is the party. Let me vow, today, anybody who emerges here, I’ll support the person to the fullest.
“I’ll support the person to the fullest because I’m a committed party person. Because I love this party. Because since 1998 I’ve been in this party. I work for this party. I’m not going anywhere. This is my party,” he said.
