Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Southern Nigeria has pledged to support Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the forthcoming 2023 elections.
Gatekeepers News reports that Wike on Monday reiterated his commitment to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Rivers State Governor wrote, “I made a vow to the PDP that I will support whoever emerges from the #PDPPresidentialPrimaries and I am not going to go back on my word.
“We cannot abandon the @OfficialPDPNig, we will be fully supporting H.E @atiku.”

Wike, who lost the PDP’s presidential ticket to Atiku had earlier vowed to stay loyal irrespective of the outcome of the party’s presidential primary election.
