COVID-19: NCDC Records 74 New Cases And 1 Death

Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) says 74 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been recorded in 10 states across the federation.

Gatekeepers News reports that NCDC in its record for Thursday, July 1, disclosed that these states include Lagos, Ondo, Oyo, Rivers, Kaduna, Ekiti, FCT, Gombe, Jigawa, and Ogun.

Lagos state has the highest number of records which include 49 cases, while Ondo has 12 new cases recorded.

Other states with the infection record are Oyo and Rivers which recorded 3 each, while Kaduna had 2 new cases.

Meanwhile, Ekiti, FCT, Gombe, Jigawa and Ogun respectively recorded just 1 new case of the COVID-19.

NCDC through this record showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 167,692 confirmed cases.

The total number of discharged cases was recorded to be 164,273.

“75 community recoveries from FCT managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC stated.

Stating the record of death, NCDC has it that one life was lost, leaving the death static at 2,121.
