Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has fulfilled his promise by awarding Lagos State University’s best graduating student, Miss Yusuf Aminat Imoitesemeh N10 million prize.
Gatekeepers News reports that Sanwo-Olu said her 5.0 CGPA in Law at just 23 years old is a testament to her hard work and the State’s quality education.
The Governor who hosted Aminat and her parents, Ibrahim Yusuf and Halimah, said they discussed her background and the crucial role her disciplined parents played in her personal development.
Aminat shared how her parents’ unwavering commitment to her and her siblings’ education shaped her path to success, adding that they instilled the value of aiming high and provided everything they needed.
The Governor further encouraged Aminat to use her voice as a champion for vulnerable communities and to promote initiatives tailored to their needs.
Sanwo-Olu said, “Together, we can create opportunities for those who need it most.”
