A Mother and her nine-day-old baby lost their lives in a building collapse in Ayedun street around Hospital/Egbe Road in Akure, Ondo state, South-west Nigeria.
Gatekeepers News reports that the incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday after an overhead water tank fell on the building housing the victims.
Meanwhile, the grandmother and elder brother of the baby sustained injuries in the incident.
Although security personnel have evacuated the bodies, the injured persons are receiving treatment at an unknown hospital.
