Suspected bandits ambushed a wedding train in Damari town, Sabuwa Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Gatekeepers News reports that over 55 wedding guests, who were accompanying the bride home, were allegedly kidnapped during the incident on Thursday evening.
Sabuwa is known for its agriculture, but it is also one of the areas in Katsina State that has been dealing with security challenges posed by bandits and their accomplices, particularly informants.
