Queen Elizabeth II has been scheduled to meet the United States President, Joe Biden.
Gatekeepers News reports that Queen Elizabeth II will meet with American President, Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden at Windsor Castle on Sunday, 13th of June.
The meeting will make Biden the 12th serving U.S president to meet the Queen.
The Queen had met with Biden’s predecessor Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at Buckingham Palace in 2019.
The 95-year-old Queen who first met a serving US president, Harry S Truman, as Princess Elizabeth in 1951, has since met all elected US leaders during her 69 years on the throne, except for Lyndon B Johnson.
“The Queen will meet the President of the United States of America and First Lady Jill Biden at Windsor Castle on Sunday, 13th June 2021,” Buckingham Palace announced Thursday.
Gatekeepers News reports that Biden’s meeting with the Queen coincides with the three-day summit of Group of Seven leaders in Cornwall, southwest England.
Meanwhile, the U.S President is also billed to meet Prime Minister Boris Johnson on 10 June “to affirm the enduring strength of the special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom”, according to the White House said.
