COVID-19: NCDC Records 45 New Cases

Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) says 45 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been recorded in 6 states across the federation. 

Gatekeepers News reports that NCDC in its record for Thursday, June 10, disclosed that these states include Ondo, Lagos, Gombe, Katsina, Rivers and Nasarawa.

Ondo state has the highest number of record which include 23, while Lagos has 15 new cases recorded.

Other states with the infection record are Gombe, Katsina and Rivers states, which had 2 cases each.

Also, Nasarawa the sixth state on the list for June 10, recorded just 1 new case of the COVID-19.

NCDC through this record showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 167, 027 confirmed cases.

The national public health institute noted that 10 states were recorded 0 cases reported and these states include, “Akwa Ibom, Ekiti, FCT, Imo, Kano, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Plateau and Sokoto.”

The total number of discharged cases was recorded to be 163,413.

“75 community recoveries from FCT managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC stated.

Meanwhile, the total number of death remained static at 2,117, revealing that no life was lost.
