There was intense drama on Monday night which happened to be the third day of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Lockdown reunion show as the host of the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu focused on Tolanibaj, Prince, Vee and Neo.
Gatekeepers News reports that Tolanibaj, during her stay in Biggie’s house, had a relationship with Prince but it was revealed the day she got evicted that she liked Neo who happens to be her friend Vee’s man.
When asked why she was eyeing her friend’s man while she was dating Prince in the house, Tolanibaj replied that he (Prince) “was not man enough” and she wanted to use Neo to make Prince jealous.
Tolanbaj claimed her relationship with Prince brought ’embarrassment’ to her and she regretted dating him.
“Well, I liked Prince at the time, he’s attractive. We had a conversation in the garden then and he said he’s ready to be done with and that it was me that he wants,” the ex-BBNaija housemate said.
“I remembered letting him know that I did not believe him at a time. I also told him then that he came to me because Nengi had rejected him.
“I told him multiple times that I’m not a second option but he tried to convince me that he really wants me and honestly, I regret getting into that entanglement because it has caused nothing but embarrassment.
“Embarrassment on social media, his family members and online generally. I felt it’s something that I could have avoided. He was mostly telling me that we’re not going to be just friends, that this relationship must work. They’re trying to portray me as being desperate.”
In his response, Prince said he really liked Tolanibaj then but their conflicting personalities made it difficult for them to get along.
“I actually liked her at the time but over time, I noticed we had conflicting personalities and the fact that she once said I don’t make her happy,” he said.
Prince explained that Tolanibaj wanted ‘PDA’ (Public Display of Affection) which he doesn’t fancy and cannot always spend time with her as she wanted when there was nothing serious for them to do together or discuss.
Gatekeepers News reports that Tolanibaj, who constantly referred to herself as a bad b*tch during the reunion show, told Prince that “maybe if you’re man enough, I wouldn’t have been doing that (think of dating Neo). You should have stepped up to being a man. So, I wanted to use Neo and make you jealous and let you how a man should be because you’re definitely not a man.”
When the host of the BBNaija reunion show asked Vee how she felt about the revelation of her friend trying to go after her man (Neo), she expressed her disappointment and stated that Tolanibaj acted like she was desperate for love.
“You obviously have the desperation that you’re claiming not to have,” Vee said.
Tolanibaj went wild after hearing Vee’s comment and threw a pillow at her on the national TV, a provocation Vee successful ignored as the ex-BBNaija housemates traded words.
Although, Neo defended her girlfriend (Vee) when he was asked to comment and made it clear that Tolanbaj wasn’t his type.
