Day 9: BBN Brighto Named ‘Lockdown’ Best Gossiper

Day 9: BBN Brighto Named 'Lockdown' Best Gossiper
Ex-Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Brighto has been named the best gossiper of the Lockdown edition.

Gatekeepers News reports that host of the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked the ex-housemates to vote during the ninth day of the reunion show on the most gossiper in Biggie’s house during the season five edition.

Brighto got 5 votes out of the 12 housemates that were present which made him the best gossiper of the BBN 2020 edition.

During Tuesday’s discussion, Praise disclosed that Brighto’s comment in Biggie’s house resulted in the breakup between him and his ex-fiancee. Brighto had in the house told other housemates that Praise was dating someone far older than him.

According to Praise, people found and stormed his ex-fiancee’s page after the statement to harass her until she made her page private. He asked Brighto to apologize to his ex-fiancée on the live programme for his comment and the embarrassment he caused her.

Brighto, however, refused to apologise, saying he owes no one any apology.

Moving on, Ebuka played a clip of Brighto and Tochi talking about Nengi and Prince. The duo stated that Prince wasn’t financially buoyant to “handle” someone like Nengi.

When asked why they arrived at that conclusion, Tochi tried to defend his statement saying he didn’t mean it that way.

However, Brighto stood on his ground, saying: “I don’t think Prince is financially capable of dating Nengi. Yes I said so in the house and that’s the truth.

“My reason is that Nengi travels a lot and looks like that kind of girl you need to have money to date her and Prince is not capable of that,” Brighto said.

The host further ask Prince for his comment on the ex-housemates conclusion, and he responded that he doesn’t concern himself with how people see his financial capacity.

In his words: “I don’t bother myself with questions about other people’s pocket or financial status.I don’t bother myself with trying to tell you how much I make or how much im worth

“The poorer you think I am, benefits me because that means I don’t have to prove anything and you’ll think I’m just as financially incapable as you are and you wouldn’t have to come to me for help.”

Gatekeepers News reports that Ebuka also played another clip that showed Dorathy, Lucy and Ka3na discussing Tochi‘s refusal to be involved in the House.

The clip also generated arguments between the trio who tried to defend their various actions.

Ebuka also beamed the light on Lilo and Vee. He asked Vee why she nominated Lilo for eviction in the second week despite them being friends.

Vee said she nominated Lilo because she didn’t think Lilo wanted to be in the house based on what she observed (that she was always with her love interest, Eric). Although, Vee admitted that she felt bad about it and had apologised to Lilo after the show.
