Police have unleashed water cannons to disperse Yoruba nation agitators.
Gatekeepers News reports the police have unleashed water cannons and fired teargas to disperse a crowd of Yoruba Nation agitators who converged on the Ojota area of Lagos on Saturday.
The agitators who were over 50 in number displayed placards, demanding an independent state for the southwest region.
The protesters shouted, “No going back; Yoruba nation now.”
