Nigeria has recorded 12 New COVID-19 cases.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria has recorded 12 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, 11 July 2021, bringing the number of confirmed infections in the country to 168,552.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in its daily report.
The infections were recorded in three states: Akwa Ibom-6, Ogun-4, and Rivers-2.
Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,124 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 164,439 have recovered and have been discharged.
In other news, a total of 2,534,205 eligible persons have received their first jab, while 1,404,740 Nigerians vaccinated with 1st dose have collected their 2nd dose.
