Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Lockdown winner, Olamilekan Agbeleshebioba, popularly known as Laycon has reconciled with his colleague, Ngozi “Erica” Nlewedim.
Erica was disqualified on the 6th of September, 2020 over the altercation she had with Laycon. She was found guilty of bullying, defacing Biggie’s property, among other offences.
The duo had maintained that they weren’t friends even after they left the reality show.
Just recently during the BBNaija reunion show, Erica said she regretted calling Laycon her best friend before they fell apart on the show.
In her words: “I think he’s just a snake and he’s just going to act to make people pity him as usual. He acts like a saint which is not going to be genuine. So, I don’t think there’s really any relevance.
“We only knew each other like for two months right in my 27 years of living? I can’t trust anything that comes out of his mouth.’
“As I look at him, I still feel very stupid forever saying that he was my best friend in the house who always got my back and all of that.
“There was a video I saw where he said ‘if I had the chance to talk to Erica, I’ll tell her she is smart…’, are we not on the same group chat, uncle? Why are you pretending?”
However, on Saturday, the two ex-housemates uploaded videos where they were both grooving at a party on Friday night.
‘We are good’, they wrote as they were seen smiling at each other.
Meanwhile, the sixth edition of the reality show will premiere on Saturday and Sunday, July 24 and 25 respectively.
Gatekeepers News reports that this year’s edition will run for 72 days and end on October 3, 2021 and the winner will walk away with a whopping N90 million grand prize, the highest since BBNaija debuted in 2006.
Unlike previous editions, there will be no SMS voting for season 6 as fans will be allowed to vote for their favourite housemates for free via BBNaija’s official website and mobile app as well as on the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps.
