PDP has reached a conclusion over the fate of the Uche Secondus-led NWC.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reached a conclusion over the fate of the Uche Secondus-led NWC, saying that the national convention of the party will be conducted before the end of October.

Gatekeepers News had earlier reported that the PDP governors and stakeholders of the party met for several hours on Monday, after which they reconvened on Tuesday.

The 13 state governors elected on the platform of the party, members of the national assembly, former ministers, former senate presidents, former governors, and other party stakeholders were present during the talks on Tuesday.

The PDP convention was earlier scheduled to hold in December.

Governor of Sokoto state and chairman of the PDP governors forum, Aminu Tambuwal made the announcement on Tuesday after a closed-door meeting of the party stakeholders in Abuja, FCT.

Tambuwal while commenting on the internal crisis in the party said the members have agreed to work together.

“We are very happy to announce that we have discussed all matters and we have resolved to continue to work as a united family,” Tambuwal said.
