Nigeria has recorded 665 New Covid-19 cases and no deaths as infection hits 181, 962.
Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 181, 962 as 665 new cases and 8 deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 15th of August 2021.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 163,946 cases have been discharged and 2,219 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.
According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 13 states, with Lagos having the highest with 369 new cases.
In further report from NCDC, Anambra (68), Oyo (63), Akwa Ibom (48), Kwara (28), Rivers (26), Edo (21), Ekiti (15), Ondo (13), Delta (7), FCT (3), Ogun (3), and Gombe (1).
Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
