United Kingdom will not recognise Taliban Government in Afghanistan, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Afghan government collapsed and Taliban took over on August 15 after President Ashraf Ghani fled to the country.

Raab noted that, although UK will have to deal with the new realities in Afghanistan as it won’t want to see the social and economic fabric of the country broken.
The Foreign Secretary who stated this during a visit to Pakistan acknowledged that it would not have been possible to evacuate some 15,000 people from Kabul without some degree of cooperation with the Taliban.
“We do see the importance of being able to engage and having a direct line of communication,” he said.
Gatekeepers News reports that tens of thousands of Afghans have been internally displaced following the recent violence in the county, while about half a million others have become refugees in neighbouring countries such as Pakistan and Iran.
The country’s main airport in Kabul has been closed but is expected to reopen in days with the help of technical experts from Qatar.
