Court Upholds Secondus’ Suspension As PDP Chairman

High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has upheld the suspension of the embattled National Chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus.

Gatekeepers News reports that the High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Southern Nigeria has upheld the suspension of the embattled National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus.

The court was presided over by Justice Okugbelem Ggasam.

Ggasam, in his judgement, relied on Secondus’ suspension at Ward 5 in Andoni local government area of the State brought by some aggrieved members of the PDP; Ibeawuchi Ernest Alex and four others.

Ggasam also upheld the prayers of the aggrieved PDP members to retrain, suspend Secondus from attending, conveying PDP meetings in his capacity as National chairman or member of the party.

Counsel to Secondus expressed dissatisfaction against the ruling, noting that his client will appeal the judgement.

This is a developing story.
