Young Professionals Forum (YPF) of the Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC) is set to host its annual Leadership, Excellence, Ascent, and Development (LEAD) summit.
Gatekeepers News reports that Harvard Business Review Writer and International Innovator, Professor Ndubuisi will headline this year’s YPF of the DLBC LEAD annual summit which will hold on September 18 and 19, 2021.
The church’s Head, Media, and Communication, Daniel Afolayan who made this known in a statement said the summit will hold at 9 am and 1 pm on the respective slated dates.
Ndubuisi who will be giving the keynote address of the occasion will be speaking on the theme, “The New Breed” alongside other distinguished speakers and renowned professionals across various fields on the occasion.
According to the statement, these speakers will discuss topics on leadership, conflict resolution, change management, sustainable national development, mentorship, value creation, integrity, among others.
Afolayan noted that “This year’s summit aims at equipping young professionals with the knowledge and skills needed for 21st-century leadership in various professions and career pursuits, all geared towards self-development initiative and nation-building.
“The acronym LEAD is an annual leadership summit designed to evoke a new conversation on Leadership, Excellence, Ascent and Development (LEAD) for young professionals across all spheres of life.”
The President of the YPF, Daniel Bamigbayan while speaking ahead of the Summit, said this year’s conference targets a physical attendance of 10,000 young adults.
Bamigbayan also gave the assurance that the attendees, in line with the mandate of the YPF will be developed, preserved, and commissioned for impact across various professions and leadership strata.
The statement read further, “The highpoint of the conference will be the graduation ceremony of successful participants in the 2021 Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) organised by YPF.
“It may be recalled that the YPF held its maiden summit tagged “Gaining the Edge” in 2019, and has since sustained the initiative. This is in addition to the Skill Acquisition Programme (SAP) that has trained over 4,000 persons in the last 4 years.
“The YPF is an initiative of the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church; Dr. William Folorunsho Kumuyi, as a capacity-building initiative, which he alluded to as the panacea to resolving unemployment and youth’s restiveness in Nigeria.”
