Authorities on Wednesday said the wildfire started by Alexandra Souverneva last week has destroyed about 185 homes and other buildings in Redding, a city in Northern California.

Gatekeepers News reports that the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said all evacuation orders have been lifted after crews contained 75 percent of the fawn fire.

Prosecutors said the culprit is being held at Shasta County Jail after being charged with felony arson to wildland with an enhancement because of a declared state of emergency in California.

Souverneva, 30, has pleaded not guilty.

It was gathered that the Fawn Fire charred more than 13 square miles (34 square kilometers) of heavy timber.
