President Muhammadu Buhari has sympathised with Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of the Fountain of Life Church, over the death of his wife, Nomthi.
Gatekeepers News reports that Buhari, in a condolence message made available by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Wednesday, also condoled with the church, and Christendom in general over the unfortunate passage, describing it as “sad and quite touching.”
He urged Pastor Odukoya to bear the adversity with equanimity, being convinced that nothing could have happened without the knowledge and permission of Almighty God.
The President prayed for strength for all who mourn the departed, asking God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nomthi who died of cancer, got married to Pastor Odukoya after his first wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya died on December 10, 2005, in a Sosoliso plane crash.
