Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases rose to 213,818 on Wednesday with 141 new infections.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its daily update on coronavirus.
The fresh cases were recorded in 12 States; Lagos-46, Benue-44, FCT-15, Kastina-12, Bauchi-9, Kano-4, Delta-3, Enugu-2, Kwara-2, Rivers-2, Gombe-1 and Plateau-1.
The NCDC added that Wednesday’ report includes:
- 46 confirmed cases reported for Lagos state is for 23rd (16) & 24th (30) November 2021
- 44 confirmed cases reported for Benue state are backlogs for 16th (17), 17th (4), 18th (5), 19th (2), 22nd (11), 23rd (1) & 24th (4) November 2021
- 15 confirmed cases reported for FCT is for 23rd (10) & 24th (5) November 2021
- 9 confirmed cases reported for Bauchi state is for 23rd (6) & 24th (3) November 2021
- 4 confirmed case reported for Kano state is for 23rd (1) & 24th (3) November 2021
- 48 Discharged cases for FCT are community discharges for 23rd (48) & 24th (58) Novenmber 2021
- 0 case reported from Sokoto States.
As of November 24th, Nigeria has recorded 207,016 recoveries and 2,974 deaths.
