Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG) has launched a dating site for singles.
Gatekeepers News reports that RCCG City of David Parish Pastor, Idowu Iluyomade has announced the launch of RedeemersConnect.org, an online dating platform for mature singles.
Iluyomade said the platform will enable singles to interact and find their life partners.
He explained that the details of the intended users of the platform will go through some processing before approval.
The goal of the site which has been endorsed by the RCCG Europe Mainland Mission is to create a courtship platform enabling eligible Christian brethren living in Europe and across the RCCG global community to connect in a safe and secured manner with the intent to seek a suitable life partner.
Meanwhile, the site – Redeemers Connect benefits from RCCG’s global presence in over 198 countries, Nigeria inclusive. The site will increase the universe of finding a life partner, breaking down barriers with regards to race, color, language, or ethnicity.
Redeemers Connect is exclusively for singles, unmarried seniors, widows, and widowers with the serious intent of getting married within a year or two of enlisting as a member on the platform. It is the church’s hope that through this medium, we will celebrate many more marriages within the RCCG global family and share joyous testimonies.
On its website, Redeemers Connect further stated that “it is exclusively for Christian singles, widows, widowers, and unmarried seniors in the RCCG global family with serious intent to get married within a year or two upon enlisting as a member.
“Our ‘connect to court’ matchmaking algorithm has been carefully designed to take your preferences into account. We encourage honest and genuine responses so that we can match your preferences in the most accurate manner.
“We are committed to keeping your profile safe and ensuring that members registered on the site are genuine and active within the church community.”
Intending users of the platform are, therefore, advised to read the terms and conditions of the site before joining, or uploading personal details.
The site has disclaimers: “Don’t give out personal contact details immediately. Remember you are the one in control. Don’t put personal contact details in your profile or in the first messages you send to another member
“If anything makes you feel uncomfortable about another member, stop contacting them. You can delete their profile instantly from your Redeemers Connect Contacts list, which means they will be unable to contact you via the website. If you feel someone is abusing the service, tell us immediately.
“Always use your common sense and remember you are the one in control.”
