Ojo Soccer Ambassadors Reward Coaches And Others

Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos was agog with delectable football, and other fanfare, as the group under the auspices of, ‘Ojo Soccer Ambassadors’ celebrated and recognized coaches in that geographic zone, for their contribution to the growth and development of football in the region.

Gatekeepers News reports that the fast-rising group, under the leadership of Germany based, Steve Chukwudi Okoro, fondly referred to as Enyimba, gifted mini bags of rice and cash rewards to about 50 selected coaches for a job well-done, in order to encourage the coaches to do more and also as a pat in the back.

A novelty game between the foreign-based players and the home-based players was prosecuted to commemorate the event and it ended 3-2 in favour of the locally-based stars.

The crème de la crème in Ojo were present to grace the occasion, which is in the second edition, after a successful maiden edition at St Micheal’s College in Ojo, last year, which had in attendance Super Eagles and Genk of Belgium forward, Paul Ebere Onuachu, himself an Ojo product and this second edition that went down at the Camp 4 playing ground at Ojo Cantonment Barracks.

Other notable names that are part of the group, Ojo Soccer Ambassadors, who put the event together include Ovie Mukoro, Sweden, Njoku Blessing, France, Tunde Skipo Sweden, Ikem James, Qatar, Nnake Prince USA, Emeka Kokumo, Thailand, Jonathan Endurance, Slovenia.

Others include Ozegbe Kingsley, Finland, Emmanuel Fasure, Germany, Abu Azeez, Nigeria, Orishani Felix, Finland, Kelechi Nzekwe, Finland,
Iheanacho Kingsley, South Africa, Okoi Newman, France, Joe Alex, Finland, Ofili Christian, USA, Shittu Oborale, Sweden, Durosinmi Adeleke, France, Theophilus Ebiowei, USA, Oshomah, Turkey, Vandersa Abdullahi, Italy, King Odion, USA amongst others.

Amongst the coaches honoured were coach Bartolomeo Obi, Coach Osahon, coach Kenneth, coach Raymond, coach Baresi, coach Chuks, Late coach Supremo, coach Benjy and many more.
