MEVEF Distributes School Bags And Writing Materials To Orphans

Mayasalis Entrepreneur and Vocational Empowerment Foundation (MEVEF) has distributed school bags and writing materials to orphans and the underprivileged.

Gatekeepers News reports that MEVEF has distributed school bags and writing materials to orphans and the underprivileged Primary School pupils in Edo State, Southern Nigeria.

This was executed under the initiative tagged “Back to School Project for Orphan and underprivileged School Kids.”

On Jan. 17 and 18 2022 Orphans and the underprivileged Primary School pupils in Otsele and Akhale primary Schools in Okpekpe then proceeded to Echadakwi and Badeki primary schools in Imiegba and continued to Azamanodu primary school in Imiakebu and then to Atakheha Primary School Itsukwi in Etsako East Local Government Area of the State benefited from this project.

The Founder (MEVEF), Mayasalis in an interview said the back to school project is an incentive to catch the children’s attention so that they can be mentored to become quality citizens, to get them focused on time, and to teach them free skills to enable them to become self-reliant and in turn, contribute to nation-building.

 

In reaction to this, the education Secretary Etsako East, Okpo Ali Jumai, commended the founder for bringing back home Projects such as this.

The pupils and the headteachers applauded MEVEF for the kind gesture.

The foundation also extended its gesture to AL-Muktar Secondary School and Evangel Int’l School in Etsako East local government of the where MEVEF Clubs were created in the Schools.

The Purpose of these Clubs is to catch them young and also to inculcate in them good moral character as well as free Entrepreneurial Skills of any kind to be self-reliant.

The Propiertress who has been serving humanity since age 14 believes HUMANITARIANISM is not proof of wealth but of SELFLESSNESS and that her mission to build communities of self-reliant people is non-negotiable.

MEVEF is a non Governmental, Non-Profit, Non-Religious organization that focuses mainly on developing the underprivileged for Self Reliance through Vocational Skills, Entrepreneurship Empowerment, Agriculture, Health, and Education.
