Charles Soglo, a 31-year-old farmer, has shot his wife, Doris Amoah in the chest and also attempted to suicide over her refusal to have sex with him.
Gatekeepers News quotes a report by MyJoyOnline which stated that Soglo attempted suicide because he thought he had killed his 21-year-old wife.
The incident was said to have happened at Adansi Nyakumase in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The report was confirmed by Takyi Adansi Fomena District Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Yaw Ohene, who stated that “Charles Soglo shot his hands and lost two of his fingers and shot his chest.
“His wife had been transported to the hospital when a team of officers got to the scene. The officers then transported the suspect to the hospital.”
