Job Title: Registered Midwife
Location: Awka Capital Territory
Position Type: Contract employment (remuneration will be discussed)
General Responsibilities of this Position are:
• Health facility/compliance inspection
• Coordinate TBAs on standard health practices
• Offer technical support to selected TBAs
• Write reports
The ideal candidate should:
• possess a Bachelor degree in Nursing
• have passion for maternal health
• be proficient in maternal and child health care
• have the bility to work with low level birth attendants
• be prompt to emergency response
• possess team work skills
• have good communication skill
• possess a smart phone with the following specifications:
– Sharp camera with minimum of 13 megapixel
– 4000mAH Battery
– Minimum of 3GB memory capacity
Ability to use MS Word, Excel and Google drive is an added advantage.
Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
