JUST IN: Hallmark Newspaper Publisher Emeka Obasi Is dead

Publisher of Hallmark Newspaper, Prince Emeka Obasi is dead.

Gatekeepers News reports that the publisher of the business, policy, and finance daily newspaper, died on Wednesday, March 16, after a protracted illness.

The veteran journalist and public relations expert, who was birthed in Abia State was known to have been battling a health challenge for the past eight years.

He is the founder and executive secretary of Public Policy Research and Analysis Centre (PPRAC), organisers of the Zik Prize in Leadership Award.

He was the former Commissioner for Information, Abia State, in Nigeria’s south-east.

Obasi went into public relations after a stint as a journalist before settling for publishing in 1999 with Hallmark
