APC Releases Revised Timetable For Primary Elections

All Progressives Congress (APC) has reeled out a revised timetable of activities for its governorship, State House of Assembly, Senate and House of Representatives primary elections.

Gatekeepers News reports that the revised timetable was contained in a statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

The governorship primary elections would hold on Thursday, May 26 with only state delegates voting, while the primary elections for the state assemblies would hold on the same day, but with local government delegates voting.

Local government delegates would also vote in the senatorial primary elections and so same for the House of Representatives primary elections on 28th May.

The Special Convention for the Presidential Primary will be held as scheduled on Sunday, May 29 – Monday, May 30, 2022.

The statement titled “Revised APC Timetable for 2023 Primary Elections”, reads:

“The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday, 23rd of May, 2022, approved a revised Timetable/Schedule of Activities for the Governorship, State House of Assembly, Senate and House of Representatives Primary Elections as follows:

***Thursday, 26th of May, 2022
Governorship – (State Delegates)
State House of Assembly – (LGA Delegates)

***Friday, 27th of May, 2022
Senate – (LGA Delegates)

***Saturday, 28th of May, 2022
House of Representatives – (LGA Delegates)

Please Note that the Special Convention for the Presidential Primary will be held as scheduled on Sunday, 29th – Monday, 30th of May, 2022.”
