Nigeria Approves Elon Musk’s Starlink Internet Service

Federal Government of Nigeria has approved Elon Musk’s Starlink internet service.

Gatekeepers News reports that Musk announced this on this official Twitter handle on Friday.

The SpaceX boss said the internet service has also been approved in Mozambique.

See the features of Starlink below:

Starlink has high speeds and latency as low as 20ms in most locations, which enables video calls, online gaming, streaming, and other high data rate activities that historically have not been possible with satellite internet.

Users can also take Starlink with them via the Portability feature or Starlink for RVs service.

It comes with a kit that arrives with everything that is needed to get online including Starlink, wifi router, cables, and base.

Starlink requires a clear view of the sky to connect.

The app can the downloaded on iOS or Playstore to determine the best install location.

It is ideally suited for areas where connectivity has been unreliable or completely unavailable. People across the globe are using Starlink to gain access to education, health services, and even communications support during natural disasters.

It is a division of SpaceX. SpaceX is leveraging its experience in building rockets and spacecraft to deploy the world’s most advanced broadband internet system.
