Habeeb Okikiola, the fast-rising Nigerian singer, Portable has declared his support for the re-election bid of Gboyega Oyetola, governor of Osun State, Southwest Nigeria, and Presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

Gatekeepers News reports that Portable shared videos from his visit to Osogbo, the state capital where he met Governor Oyetola and his campaign team via his Instagram page on Wednesday.

In one of the videos, the musician urged the people of Osun to vote for Oyetola during the gubernatorial election scheduled for July 16 in order to “enjoy good governance”.

Oyetola of the APC will slug it out with Ademola Adeleke, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), alongside other aspirants during Saturday’s poll.

Portable, while declaring support for Tinubu to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023, said “Support APC, vote for Tinubu… only Oyetola and Tinubu can do it.”

Portable further showed off money allegedly given to him by the governor’s team during the visit amid cheers from his fans.

The Zazoo singer came into the limelight in December 2021 and has since then been in the news for controversial reasons.
