Officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and Amuwo Odofin Local Government have turned blind eye to a broken down heavy duty truck abandoned on a major road for days, leaving motorists to bear the brunt.
Gatekeepers News reports that an eyewitness who shared his experience with us on Monday lamented the trouble motorists were going through passing the Ago Amuwo link bridge, close to lakeview, phase 2 entrance.
According to him, the heavy duty truck, which apparently broke down has been on the same spot since Saturday and no government official deemed it fit to ensure it is moved away before today, Monday which is usually a busy day for workers in the State.
“You are called to governance and not just to focus on election,” the motorist who expressed displeasure in the situation charged the government to act fast on the matter.
