Here are 8 Americans of Nigerian origin, who ran in the midterm election of the United States of America on Tuesday November 8, 2022, and have come out victorious.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigerians namely Segun Adeyina, Gabe Okoye, Solomon Adesanya, Tish Naghise, Phil Olaleye, Carol Kazeem, Oye Owolewa and Esther Agbaje contested in the Georgia House of Representatives elections.

Gabe Okoye wins Georgia State Representative in District 102.

Solomon Adesanya wins Georgia State Representative in District 43.

Tish Naghise wins Georgia State Representative in District 68.

Phil Olaleye wins Georgia State Representative in District 59.

Carol Kazeem wins Pennsylvania State Representative in District 159.

Dr. Oye Owolewa wins his reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives (Shadow Representative) in Washington D.C.

Esther Agbaje wins her reelection for Minnesota State Representative in District 59B.
