Greater Lagos Will Happen In Your Lifetime – Sanwo-Olu Assures Lagosians

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos, has assured residents of the state that his administration will double its efforts to deliver on electoral promises.

Gatekeepers News reports that Sanwo-Olu spoke on Tuesday during a public lecture held at the Onikan area of the state.

He said his government would double its promises and efforts, adding that the residents have given his administration all the support needed.

“We, as a government, are reassured; we are further recommitted in everything that we have done so far, to say that with all of the support you have given us, especially during the last election,” Sanwo-Olu said.

“You have confirmed that you are happy with what we are doing, and the only way we can pay you back is to do a lot more; to double up on all of our promises, to ensure that we do not disappoint.

“It is to ensure that we can bring hope to the hopeless, we can give voice to the voiceless and can give relief to the vulnerable in our society, provide security of life for our citizens.

“I want to say to you that the conversation around the ‘Greater Lagos Rising’ is real. It will happen in your lifetime, and all of our commitments to you will be actualised.”

Sanwo-Olu added that good governance impacts the life of the common man and gives hope to the hopeless.
