Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ilebaye Odiniya, the triumphant winner of the Big Brother Naija All-stars Season Reality Television Show, which ended on Sunday.
Gatekeepers News reports that in an official statement from his Media Aide, Onogwu Mohammed, Governor Bello commended Ilebaye’s victory as a testament to her brilliance, perseverance, and humility.
The Governor described Ilebaye, a criminology graduate of Salem University, Lokoja, as a true trendsetter and a source of pride for Kogi State.
“I am delighted to congratulate one of our own in Kog, Ilebaye Odiniya, for emerging as the winner of the Big Brother Naija All Stars Season reality television show.
“Ilebaye, you are a trendsetter and Kogi’s pride, who has excelled in both academic and social spheres.
“This victory is a testament to your brilliance, intellect and maturity. Your determination, resilience, and poise set you apart during the three months you spent in the house,” he said.
Ilebaye scored 30.8% of the total votes to beat her closest rival, Mercy Eke who got 23.48%.
Her victory surprised many as she was evicted in the third week of her season “Level Up” 2022, and an underdog in the All-Stars season.
