In the line-up against South Africa, the head coach, Jose Peseiro, only made one change in the squad that faced Angola, with Osayi-Samuel replacing Zaidu.
Meanwhile, Vice President Kashim Shettima who was at the Stade de la Paix in Bouaké, Côte d’Ivoire, has also celebrated with Jose Peseiro’s men.
In a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima said “Their performance throughout the tournament has been marked by exceptional talent, determination, and resilience, captivating the hearts of fans nationwide.”
