A fire broke out at the private residence of the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mariya Mahmoud.
Gatekeepers News reports that on Sunday afternoon, the house, located at No. 9, Justice Roseline Ukeji Close, Asokoro, was completely destroyed, and nothing could be salvaged from the ruins.
Reports indicate that fire fighters were slow to respond to the incident. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
Mr. Austine Elemue, media aide to the Minister, confirmed the incident. However, investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
